2009 National Alumni Engagement Survey

For the past decade, HSR has been involved in a systematic program of alumni survey research.  One of the most promising outcomes of this research has been our Alumni Engagement Survey (AES).  It is a Web-based survey that evaluates the student expereinces of individual alumni, as well as alumni attitudes and interests.  The AES provides an objective measure of alumni engagement, and the alumni engagement scores generated for individual alumni predict the likelihood that individuals will make a fiancial gift to their alma mater.  The 2009 National Alumni Engagement Survey is part of this measure's validation process, and will. Please participate.

More importantly, ask your classmates and friends to participate.  If you work in alumni advancement, suggest that your alumni participate. Just post a message on your school's online community, and alumni Face Book and LinkedIn pages suggesting that alumni respond to the survey. All schools that have more than 500 alumni respond to the survey can receive a free online report of their school’s survey results.  This is a very cost-effective approach to obtain feedback from your alumni and involve them in the life of their alma mater.  We'll be discussing the results of the 2009 National Alumni Engagement Survey on this online Discussion Group.  Participate and join us in the discussion.
